It only took us 7 episodes before we hit our first foreign film, and on this podcast we tackle the 2014 Argentinian film, Wild Tales. Being an anthology film, does that hinder it compared to a full length feature? We go through each of the 6 short stories, discussing their connective themes and giving our rankings of all 6. Dean gives us his alternative titles to each story, while Daniel learns what a cabin chief is.
We also discuss our favourite films that aren't in the top 250, and Daniel drops a surprise announcement on Dean, as well as bringing in a new segment. And as usual we talk about other films we've seen recently, including Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread, and the new Marvel sensation, Black Panther.
